From 23rd to 27th of July 2018 at COSMOCAIXA, Prof. Goñi from Nanopto chaired and organized the Joint 18th International Conference on High Pressure Semiconductor Physics & 2nd International Workshop on High Pressure Study of Superconductors (HPSP18 & WHS2).
Nanopto members actively participated at the conference giving oral talks, presenting posters and being part of the local organizing committee. More specifically, Adrián Francisco, Alex Perevedentsev, Sebastián Reparaz, Mariano Campoy, María Isabel Alonso, Miquel Garriga, Luis Pérez and Ipek Efe.
This event brought together about 100 experts from around the world working in research areas dealing with the application of high pressure and other forms of stress to study both semiconductors and superconductors.
