Last Wednesday, 10 May at 12 noon, the Faculties of Science and Biosciences of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) celebrated the International Day of Light with a conference entitled “Managing Light Propagation with Scalable Nanophotonic Architectures“, given by Dr. Agustín Mihi, researcher at the Nanopto group.
Dr. Mihi is an expert in large areas and low-cost crystalline and plasmonic photonic structures using unconventional nanofabrication techniques. His research group investigates the design, fabrication and characterisation of photonic architectures that improve light-matter interaction applied to emerging optoelectronic devices.
