Dr. Mariano Campoy-Quiles participate in the XRE4S #MeetTheExpert campaign.
The XRE4S is the R+D+I Network Energy for Society, a network that brings together 14 Catalan Research Institutes and Universities to promote the technology transfer between them and with external entities, as well as the valorization of their work and results towards industrial partners and society at large.
The #MeetTheExpert campaign is doing exactly that: promoting the energy expertise and the valorization of new technologies coming from the experts themselves. The XRE4s interviews 36 experts on the topic, including Dr. Mariano Campoy-Quiles. His research focuses on conversion, from heat to electricity with thermoelectric generators, and from light to electricity with photovoltaic generators. These technologies are being studied and upscaled to make them more sustainable.
