CSIC has recently carried out the evaluation of all its research groups for the period between 2012 and 2016. In this evaluation, our group, Nanopto obtained the maximum grade of A – Excellent Group. The evaluation panel emphasised the high quality of results obtained, as well as the excellent funding of the group, the high level of transfer knowledge activities, and the very good training capabilities of the group. This award follows the also recent (funded) recognition by the Generalitat de Catalunya of Nanopto being a Consolidated Research Group (2017 SGR 488). Congratulations to the whole group and thank you for taking the group activities to the frontier of science and technology!
