XRE4S technology portfolio

Our reserach on new organic materials for thermoelectrics is the focus of a new XRE4S technology portfolio video.

The NANOPTO group at ICMAB has developed a method that allows to prepare an n-type semiconducting material simply by UV-VIS irradiation of a deposited p-type carbon nanotube composite. This photo-induced change is useful whenever complementary organic semiconductors are needed.

This technology is a result from the research from the FOREMAT project financed by the European Research Council (ERC CoG648901), followed by development and innovation within the framework of the AGAUR Producte SENSORAÏM (2018 PROD 00191) and ERC Proof of Concept Project ORGEVINE (963954).
