Pablo Vaccaro is ICREA Research Professor. He has a wide experience in fabrication of semiconductor devices. Currently, his research interests include tensile strained germanium on silicon substrates for monolithically integrated optoelectronics, SiGe nanowires for thermoelectric applications, piezoresistivity in Si/Ge nanostructures and III-V heterostructures and SiGe thermoelectric far-infrared sensors integrated on silicon substrates.
